PRINT DESIGN

With more than 22 years of print design experience; if you need it, I’ve done it.  Some of the most common requests from clients are: annual report, banner, brochure, business cards, caricature, catalog, direct mail, illustration, logo, magazine (and newspaper) ad, outdoor board, packaging, postcard, poster, program, signage, t-shirt, technical drawing, and vehicle wrap.

MOTION DESIGN

From short documentary to animated presentations or even commercials, motion design includes a wide gamut.  My favorite part about this media is storytelling; if a picture tells a thousand words, a moving picture tells even more.  I would love to discuss your motion design project and how to best achieve your goals.  From script writing, filming, editing, and production – let me animate your story.

Print is tradition but, in modern times, it cannot stand alone.  A great website is needed in order to have a real market share opportunity for your product or service – even if that product is you!  Case in point, the website you are on right now.  If you need an online presence, there’s no better way than to start with a great website.  Let’s find your global potential.

The first step is easy; you just contact me. If you know what you want, we will talk about your project; if you’re unsure, we will talk about options. In either case we will define the project specifications and cost. I try to keep my prices reasonable and my design outstanding. My ultimate goal is to create such a great product and experience that three things happen: you’re happy you called, you refer me to others, and you come back for any future design needs.

Good graphic design is just a visual solution to a client’s problem. That’s not all there is to good graphic design; there’s actually a lot more. That said, the second step in the process is pretty fun; we talk about elements that need to be included in the final outcome (e.g. “I want a retro look”). I encourage you to find inspirational examples of the elements you like and want. We are not going to copy anything; however, understanding your vision will help me execute that vision. If you don’t have a vision, don’t worry. I have enough creativity for the both of us; you’re in good hands so just turn me loose.

The third step is my creative process, the end of which presents to you some graphic solutions. Like a team, you and I each make changes to one or two favorite designs until we achieve the perfect look. My favorite part of design is the successful outcome of this collaborative process. In the end, we’re both happy and proud of our work. If I’m giving you a digital file to be produced by a vendor of your choice, then we move to the last step in the process. If you’d like me to produce the project also, I’d be happy to handle that for you.

Now the project is complete, I will send you a PayPal invoice. You don’t need a PayPal account in order to pay; it works just like the credit/debit card machine at the grocery store. Once you pay, I will either send you digital files or the end product.
